Professional Background
Tom Hemstock serves as the Director of the Law Library at New England Law | Boston, and in that role oversees all library operations and staff in assisting students and faculty in their legal research needs. He also teaches Advanced Legal Research, helps answer questions at the reference desk, and coordinates library resources with the law school community. Prior to joining New England Law, he served as the Assistant Director of the Schaffer Law Library at Albany Law School and as an Associate Professor of Legal Research at the University of New Hampshire, Franklin Pierce School of Law. Professor Hemstock is a member of the Law Librarians of New England, the American Association of Law Libraries, and on the Board of Directors of NELLCO, a consortium of law libraries.
